Serve Hashem with joy.

Mizmor Letoda (Tehillim 100) is the psalm of thanksgiving. In just a few verses, it calls on the whole world to give thanks to Hashem and reminds us that He made us, that we are His people, and that His kindness and faithfulness last for all generations. At its heart is one powerful command: serve Hashem with joy, and come before Him with song.

We say Mizmor Letoda every day in Shacharis, a daily reminder to start the day with gratitude. This piece reimagines it as a classic record poster: “Mizmor Letoda – King David,” with the full psalm spiraling around a vinyl record like the grooves of a song. A clean, minimalist black-and-cream design that brings a modern twist to the timeless songs of Tehillim.

Why the psalm repeats 8 times
In the artwork, Mizmor Letoda is repeated eight times around the record. Rabbi Shalom Arush has advised us to say Mizmor Letoda (Psalm 100) eight times a day during times of great challenge and adversity. After each recitation, we should voice an affirmation that everything that happens is from Hashem and is exactly the way He wants it. We should remind ourselves that everything He does is for the best and for a good purpose, even though we do not fully understand it. We should then thank Hashem for the troubles themselves.

Hang it in your living room, office or music corner as a constant reminder to live with gratitude and simcha. A unique gift for a new home, a music lover, or anyone who loves modern Jewish wall art.
